mark is a designation and can only be obtained by persons that have successfully met the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa’s (FPI) CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®
standards. The CFP®
designation is internationally recognised as the benchmark for professional advice.
Gerhard is a member of the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa (FPI) which is the leading independent professional body for financial planners in South Africa. He has served on the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa’s (FPI) Technical Committee related to the Practise Standards Guideline Workgroup during 2013. Gerhard was selected to be a member of the FPI Tax Competency Committee in 2014 and 2015. He has received further specialised training in retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning, compliance and insurance law, under the mentorship of Paul Rabinowitz (AIF®
, CIPM, FIFM, FPSA®
, GFS™, M.Inst.D, RF™).
Due to continuous education with various industry standard professionals, Gerhard has a strong base of professional expertise that goes beyond general knowledge in the financial field.
